Project Overview:
Lainston House is a 5 Star Country House in the picturesque countryside of Winchester. MEIS were delighted to be appointed by our valued client, Montage Projects, to deliver major upgrades to the electrical installations, incorporating complete refurbishments of the Michelin star Avenue Restaurant, bars and function suites.
The works were undertaken as a Design & Build contract, with MEIS taking full responsibility for the lighting, power, IT and AV installations. The programme was very challenging, considering design information, procurement of bespoke materials, and delivery happened in a 6-week period – just in time to have the facilities operational for the hotel’s busy festive period. MEIS were responsible for the design and full electrical and specialist installations from Stage 3 – Stage 5.

- Sub switchgear installation
- Bespoke wireless lighting & dimming controls systems
- Emergency lighting systems to BS5266
- General power installations including underfloor / desk power solutions
- Testing and inspections to BS761
